The title alone made me snatch this book right off the shelf.  What in the world was a Bromance Book Club?  Simply put, it's a group of professional who have turned to romance novels as a way to better understand women and learn how to improve their relationships.  The book begins with Gavin Scott, a famous baseball player, who let pride and fear royally screwed up his marriage.  His wife, Thea, has asked for a divorce and Gavin has no idea what to do.  He knows he loves Thea with all that he has, but he can't get over what she was hiding from him.  When one of his friends finds him in a bad way, he suggests group therapy, in the form of the Bromance Book Club.
The book is written from the point of view of both Gavin and Thea, giving the reader a great perspective of the couple's situation from both sides, which is refreshing for a romance novel. There are also a few chapters of the Regency romance novel that the book club is reading at the time the book takes place, which doesn't necessarily add to the plot, other than foreshadowing where the next part of the main story is heading.
To me, the best part of the book was the book club meetings themselves.  They add a ton of humor and fun to the story, often having me laughing out loud.  It also added a very sweet touch to the book, as the men in the group were very committed to making themselves into better partners for their spouses or girlfriends.  From start to finish, the book was a delight to read.  Lighthearted, funny, sexy, witty and just plain adorable at times.  Great start to a new series and I look forward to reading the sequel as soon as it comes out!
